The Unlock Experience Foundation was founded by Xiomara Teresa Mathilda, a Curaçaoan changemaker with a deep-rooted passion for education, cultural expression, and social growth. As a former school principal and head of the education department, Xiomara has proven that change is possible, even in the most challenging circumstances. She transformed some of the lowest-performing schools in Curaçao into thriving communities with waiting lists and strong parental involvement.

In addition to her educational work, Xiomara is also known as a creative visionary, spiritual coach, and branding expert (founder of NÜRA). She combines her organizational strength with intuition, compassion, and a deep belief in the power of stories, roots, and connection. With The Unlock Experience Foundation, she creates a space where young people find their voice, rediscover their identity, and build a future rooted in pride, awareness, and creativity.
